BH Update - September 2017
Key Highlights This Month:
1) The Department of Human Services continues to roll out information regarding SUD Reform through bi-weekly WebEx forums. A recent WebEx: Rule 31 to 245G presentation contains a great web-information list along with Details on specific Rule and Statute Changes. The Presentation is on the attached Link. https://mn.gov/dhs/assets/sud-reform-rule-31-245g_tcm1053-310339.pdf
Stacy Hennen will be leading a discussion at the September 21, Thursday am forum discussion regarding licensure requirements.
2) Macssa was recently asked to provide input for the development of the Mental Health Innovation Grants RFP. These Grants will provide ongoing funding to the mental health continuum taken from county cost shares related to AMRTC and CBHH’s. Grant recipients will need a letter of support from the local mental health authority. MACSSA input stressed early partnership discussions, sustainability and real options for difficult discharges from state institutions. Toni Malanphy-Sorg of Alliant Consulting Inc is designing the RFP. toni@alliantconsulting.com
