Key Highlights This Month:
DHS is in what they say are the final stages of negotiations with their soon to be contracted entity for the fiscal work they are doing. They indicate they still cannot give the name since contracts are not signed.
The policy group has been reviewing all of the various forms of case management in all areas, waiver and non-waiver. They have put together a document outlining statutes that define the type of case management and what the payment is for.
We have a meeting set up for February 1st with Stacy, Mike, Eric, John Sellen and Tom Henderson with DHS finance team to talk about our questions and thoughts on the SSTS and how to make the rate setting more understandable so it can be as predictable and stable as possible for counties.
