Housing & Transportation Update - June 2018
Key Highlights This Month:
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation:
Janet Goligowski discussed SF3937A (see supporting materials). Providers are concerned about the new enrollment and requirements. Sue plans to contact Sue Seamers-MNDOT and invite to a Forum in July or August.
Heading Home Together Leadership Circle:
Erin Sullivan Sutton-DHS discussed that David Hewitt, from the Hennepin County Office to End Homelessness, has been appointed to serve on the Heading Home Together Leadership Circle and will be reporting back to MACSSA. This is a high-level group that focuses on implementing the state’s plan to prevent and end homelessness. (see supporting material). George will be contacting David to present at a Forum in August or Sept.
LTH Data Requested by County Follow up:
Kristine Davis, DHS reported that DHS staff (Ben) is sending to the county contacts, lists of names that corelate to the data pulls from MAXIS. The workgroup is interested in having DHS present the Data Mining presentation at a Forum in August or Sept.
Housing Support Agreements:
Kristine Davis, DHS presented on the upcoming release of the Housing Support Agreement changes for 2018-2019. Signed agreements are due to DHS by June 30, 2018.

Housing Support Notice/Eviction Requirements:
Kristine Davis led a discussion on concerns about conflicting requirements and practices around providing notice of eviction. The Ramsey County Attorney’s Office is doing some work on this and will be involving multiple counties for feedback.
