Key Highlights This Month:
Housing
Housing Discussions with DHS: Erin Sullivan-Sutton and Kristine Davis from DHS were unable to attend the meeting.
Meeting Focus and Participation: There was a discussion regarding the need to better define the focus of the Housing & Transportation forum as both topics are incredibly broad and impact all areas of Human Services. There was general agreement on working to figure out a way to better coordinate state housing resources that are separated in different silos such as OEO, DHS- Mental Health, Housing Supports, MN Housing and the Office to End Homelessness.
There was a brief discussion on the changing landscape of disability housing related to the foster care moratorium and the issue of unlicensed residential settings.
